New Cairo-Kee Bassist!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Mohammed El-Hakim aka Hakim is Cairo-kee’s newest addition - the new Bassist on board. Hakim’s relationship with music started when he was 12 years old. The beginning was with Metal Bands when he taught himself how to play the guitar. His skill at playing and self expression through music has been dramatically sharpened. A few years later, he took things a step further and started jamming with more professional bands. Although the genres varied, Hakim’s main rationale behind playing never wavered; express yourself, deliver a message and leave a mark. Along the years he played with several bands, among which are Mind Spark, Zodiac, The Forgotten Notes and Tamariam Experience. As varied the bands, band members and genres were, Hakim was always searching for a band with which he could deliver a message, have the opportunity to compose and contribute with his own music, and make a difference. Although that has been his mission since he started taking music seriously, it has always been a dream of his to be part of a band with the same mission and same take on things. This is when Cairo-kee comes in. There was instant rapport with the current line-up, and after Haytham Ehab had left the band, the bassist spot was free. When you see Hakim on stage with his guitar, there’s someone on a mission who is very passionate about his music. In addition to playing bass guitar, Hakim is also into sound engineering and music postproduction. He dedicates a lot of time to exploring the field and experiencing the possibilities it offers.
